When do we get the new proboards forum UI? All my other leagues have switched and it's way better. Search on every page/post, quick drop down navigations, ability to have conversations via PM instead of a series of independent messages. It looks a little weird at first but it's much much better imho. I actually find the new software awful in its own ways. Yes, would be nice to see all messages in a PM thread, but would also be better if it didn't look exactly like any other forum thread (vs clearly being a PM thread), which can be a bit confusing. And yeah, the search function has been essentially broken here (for edited posts, which is a real issue for searching roster pages), so would be nice to get that working again. Not too crazy about the new navigation though, ie. it's still tiny, but now annoyingly placed above the banner ad. Well, I suppose it's nice to have the dropdown nav submens, but still... And don't really care for the mobile version of the site, which seems impossible to overcome (to revert to full version) on iPhone. Sucks they don't show the shoutbox on the mobile site too. Plus the news flash is so tiny now on the full site and completely missing on the mobile site. Maybe some of these things are adjustable and could be set better -- hope so. There's a mobile app for proboards, but I hate having to install another app just for that -- storage on my iPhone is unfortunately too limited... EDIT: It's a bit better now that I've customized it some...

I'm not saying it's perfect but I find it exponentially better. True, the PMs look like other forum threads but there's some elements that differentiate it. Besides, a PM is basically a thread that's for private consumption. I personally hadn't had an issue with it in my other 3 leagues. The navigation is above the ads, which is unfortunate but it gives the entire tree navigation. No longer would I have to scroll down nearly the entire forum to find the Yanks roster. I could just stay at the top of the page and use the quick nav. I find myself spending WAY less time scrolling through the forum with the quick nav in my other leagues. I have no idea about the mobile version. My Droid works amazingly with the full site on my phone so I have no need for the mobile site.

Guess I just don't check other GM's roster pages often enough for the scrolling to matter much.
But yeah, wish mobile Safari would let me switch to the full site. Apple's highly walled garden is a big part of why I dislike iOS and would not choose the iPhone for myself, but my new company doesn't allow Android for company access (and I don't feel it worth it or necessary enough to have a separate smartphone at this point). Will just have to make do -- hard to complain about such 1st world issues when it's not even on my own dime... :-P

And, you're right, between the spreadsheet and your quick links at the top, this league doesn't need the new U/I as much as my other leagues that don't have such strong design sense (kudos to you and/or Kris).

Also re-added the old quick links bar though Roger seems to have trouble w/ its rendering in desktop Safari -- haven't been able to figure out how to make it look exactly as before, but seems to work fine functionally otherwise. RE: the mobile version, looks like I can disable the mobile redirect, if everyone prefers the site not to force mobile version (probably only an issue for mobile Safari on the iPhone -- iPad's mobile Safari seems fine OTOH).
