The Mariners offer RFA Adam Wainwright an AAS of 16.13M/year for 4 years.

The Dodgers match the Twins' offer in a sign-and-trade deal to send Wainwright to the Nationals in the just posted trade:
16.2M/year * 85% = 13.77M/year
2014 - 19.2M
2015 - 16.88M
2016 - 9.5M
2017 - 9.5M

We will waive Danny Faquhar (free of obligation as he was signed as prospect and still under protection) in order to free up just enough cash to legally complete Wainwright's signing for the sign-and-trade deal.
