In what may be the largest number of players dealt in league history and a move that allows the Rangers' rebuilding efforts to continue and gives the Yanks' win-now approach a shot in the arm:
Rangers Send: Gio Gonzalez (2014: $8.5M, 2015: $11M, 2016: $12M) Anthony Rizzo (2014: $1.25M, 2015: $5M) MLB 2/3 Asdrubal Cabrera (2014: $1M, 2015: $1M, 2016: $1.4M) Jose Quintana (2014: $850k, 2015: $1M) MLB 2/3 LaTroy Hawkins (2014: $2.8M) Sergio Santos (2014: $3.3M) Joel Peralta (2014: $1.75M)
Yankees Send: Albert Pujols (2014: $23M, 2015: $24M, 2016: $25M) Jurickson Profar (2014: $505,750, 2015: $MLB, 2016: $MLB) MLB 1/3 Dayan Viciedo (2014: $400k, 2015: $400k, 2016: $500k, 2017: $500k) Michael Pineda (2014: $2.5M) MLB 3/3 Grant Balfour (2014: $7M) Addison Russell(MiLB: $500k) Max Fried (MiLB: $500k) Eddie Butler (MiLB: $300k)
Kris/Man- I think with the drops I made this morning I should be just under the cap after this trade. Please check my math to make sure that's correct or if I need to make another drop. I will immediately drop Balfour and Pineda as soon as the trade is approved to free up additional cap space.
Thanks to the Yankees for a GREAT session of talks on this blockbuster. Always a pleasure to work with you!!

Yankees approve! These negotiations were great and thanks to Scott for getting through all the hurdles of something so mammoth.
I hope the ENTIRE FUTURE OF MY TEAM works out well for you and you reap the benefits, and I hope that the players coming back to me help me in my (hopefully not misguided) pursuit of the title.

Also, I'll make any roster fixes upon the trade being approved. I think I'll need to drop a guy to free up an MiLB spot.
