I think we need to institute some kind of rule about player pickup in here. I myself opened up a MiLB bid for Jose De Leon last year when I also got AJ Reed. If that owner hasn't picked up their player in that time frame, that's a bit absurd if you ask me. I couldn't decide between Josh Naylor and another player who is free on Fantrax, but then I finally saw they are on the spreadsheet with another team. I think there should be a deadline to get this done to start this process, and once that deadline passes, any player not claimed on Fantrax should be open game. Then a 48-72 hour window to pick up any player once they are won in FA. It takes all of 5 seconds to pick someone up on there. I know that I myself, and I'm sure every other GM in here, is checking on their bid or bids in here when they have an active one. Once the player is won, pick them up.
I speak from experience as I lost a player in another league because of this.

Yeah, we tried that, remember? It didn't work and we revoked the rule. I have no desire to be in a league where people are actively trying to screw each other on silly technicalities.
Seriously, how hard is it to run a search on the spreadsheet to confirm?

Yeah we just get screwed out of a premier player during the tagging process. 1 tag left and 1 player left to tag, gee I wonder why they couldn't figure that one out? Simple mistake and I got screwed, oh well

Roger,
How does forgetting to tag a player have anything to do with syncing the fantrax site with the excel spreadsheet?
incompetence abounds!

Kris said he's not in a league where people are trying to screw each other over. My response was to that MORON

Dear Victim,
Everybody is out to get you. Nothing is your fault.
You're on absolute crazy, vindictive, paranoid SOB aren't you Roger?
You really need to just take your medicine. Own it like a man and move on. It's become quite apparent to all that you lack strategy, baseball acumen and the basic understanding on how this league operates.
Nobody sat on the waiver wires waiting to see if you were going to tag Marte and then posted him. You screwed up...you missed the deadline. Own it. I'd respect you a hell of a lot more if you did rather than the retaliatory bidding, subsequent drops to get under the cap and trades that just scuttled your entire roster. Get over it.
