Just to clarify, if you FT Baez or anyone in their pre-arbitration or arbitration years, you will get whatever real life contract the player receives. This will generally end up being just one year since teams are able to nontender them in the offseason.
For Baez specifically, he’s going to have his contract renewed by the Cubs at a salary of their choosing (assuming no long term deal). So, yes, he will be $MLB in the spreadsheet until the official amount is released. I just wanted to clarify from your statement including arbitration years - you will not get these years covered with the FT unless he signs an actual extension.
