RE: how long for approval, outside of down times when very few GMs are checking, we usually take around 2 full days before official approval... unless the trade warrants expedition or looks controversial -- we generally want to give the rest of the league reasonable amount of time to look it over and raise concerns if any... even though it would take a lot for us to consider veto, which rarely ever happens and hasn't happened in ages.
Generally, you can pretty much assume your trade will be approved, and this is mostly just a formality (unless we notice a history of activity that warrants concern... and even then, veto is probably not the best way to handle it). We're not looking tell anyone how to run their teams afterall...
