If I drop a minor league player and pick up an MLB contract, can I move Honeywell back to the minors? I realize he is on my MLB roster because of roster slots, but he hasn't played in an MLB game this year. Thanks.

Doesn't actually matter where you have him on Fantrax. As long as he's still considered a prospect for our league, he fulfills one spot of the minor league rostering/reserved requirement (of 10 minimum).
Since you currently have 14 prospects, you should be fine dropping one to sign an MLB player.
