All,
Hope everyone's doing well thru this pandemic so far...
MLB's new start date for the shortened 2020 season is sneaking up on us fast(!) and is now just 1 week away.
IF there are no objections, let's get this Show rolling again!
But please do feel free to let the League Office know whether publicly or privately of any concerns/issues. We'll very gladly address them as promptly as we can...
Cheers!

I’m doubtful MLB makes it through the entire season, but let’s roll as long as they do.

All,
Just a friendly reminder plus heads-up/clarification for new GMs.
You can still do lumpsum buyout of old obligations before the regular season officially begins, if you want. Once the regular season begins, you can only do lumpsum buyouts for current player drops (as you drop them), not old ones, up until the 8/31 deadline.
Also, you can do free drops of prospects and players still on their 3-year protection before the regular season begins -- after that, you'll simply owe 1/2 of this year's salary for those particular player drops.
Cheers!

All,
RE: trade review/processing wait time, the LO normally waits 2 days or so to approve in-season trades (and longer during certain offseason lulls), but due to the much shortened season and related circumstance, etc, the LO has agreed to reduce that (normal) wait time to just 1 day (in general) going forward for rest of this season.
