At this rate, Boras will negotiate Monty into a deal in Japan. LOL. I hate that he's not signed by now. Boston is cheap? Texas is one & done? Philly is an interesting all-in option. Thought Yanks or Cards reunion made sense but they both want short 2-3 year deals & Boras-Monty want 5-6 years.
I get it, this is his best chance at $150+ million with no draft compensation punishment for signing team. If he had another playoff run under his belt maybe he could position himself as Pettitte type playoff stud who eats innings. But it's too easy to sell him as a #3 who wants #2 money.
