Now they are the Tigers? What is going on? Not to worry - I've simply forgot which team the Reds were in a previous incarnation - Red Sox perhaps? There's a new GM for the "Tigers" - previously listed as the A's.

The old Tigers were taken over by the current O's GM (and renamed to the O's).
The old Yankees were taken over by the previous Nationals GM (and renamed to the Nats).
The old Red Sox were taken over by the current Cubs GM (and renamed to the Cubs).
The old Cardinals were taken over by the current Mariners GM (and renamed to the M's).
And I guess the old A's are now being taken over by a new GM (and renamed to the Tigers).

And the Quebec Nordiques are now the Colorado Avalanche. I think that's everyone.

So, were the A's ownerless this entire time? ?? At this point, I haven't a clue. All I know is that with 2 new GMs we are up to our full complement of 18 teams.

Speaking of owners....do we have an Athletics' owner at all? Have we ever since I have been here? Am I missing something? No we don't. That team was converted to the Reds I believe. Some housekeeping to do. the team i took over was formerly the VT Reds and i moved them to the O but kept the Reds name.

FWIW, I just fixed the Cubs' spreadsheet this morning (and renamed the A's to Yanks). ;D Small lapses can happen w/ this stuff. Although there was a significant diff in the quantity of players between the Cubs' sheet and actual roster, I must say there wasn't much diff in quality though -- I suspect 95% of those missing players will probably end up back on the waiver wire by the start of the next MiLB Draft. ;D
