Hi guys, new to the league, checking out all my players contracts, making sure they're accurate....and I'm not sure exactly where to go.
ie: Vin Mazzaro
On my Transactions page, I see he was added in 2010 for $0.5kPP....but that makes no sense. 2009 was his Prospect year. 2010 should have been his first of three option years that he could be kept. Those would expire in 2012...but the former owner has him signed through 2014.....why? Was he signed to a 5 year contract? If so, why isn't that stated?
I don't know how to clarify such stuff.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks Scott

Really you just have to hunt and peck to find everything - there is no central location. When you search, make sure and take a look at the thread location for the posts that come up - that should help some. So, for Mazzaro, you would see that the thread was in the MLB contract section instead of the MiLB contract section - and know that it wasn't a prospect deal.

Generally speaking, your best bet would be to do a site search (and make sure you go back far enough like choosing 1000 days and 100 posts for the search). You can find the site search icon/link at the very top of each page here. Usually, you will find the contracts in their proper archived locations on this site, but it's easiest to just do a full site search. Yeah, it's a bit of a pain, but we get what we pay for, which is not much. As I've mentioned many times in passing, I'd love to have a web app/site that truly supports this kind of salary dynasty league, but there isn't one so far (unless one of us ever gets around to creating one ).
