These guys are wacked...or maybe Lincecum, Zito etc. are really Chris Angel in disguise when tossing those nasty illusions aka breaking balls.

Or maybe science, rather physics, does support the path curvature of a thrown baseball...

Mythbuster's did prove that is physically impossible to have a "rising" fastball. But then again they used Roger Clemens off the juice so it might have been swayed a little, lol.

I'll buy that, no doubt, which is where the "optical illusion" concept does have some credibility.

They might have proved differently had they used Randy Johnson, instead, in a snowball fight, perhaps.
