Minimum is $50k
I see your $660k, and raise it to $710k

Minimum is $50k, putting your bid at $760k $810k Re: League Rules - Revised & Updated « Reply #3 on Apr 2, 2009, 1:06pm » All,
Please note that there was a mistake in the rules revision update above regarding minimum increments for FA bids. The absolute min FA bid increment (for first 48-hour) is actually 50K, not 25K, as stated in the following amendment:

Guys,
In the future, you do not need to make allowance for correcting other GMs' invalid bids. It's a nice gesture, but not necessary. Everyone needs to learn to follow the bidding rules -- they are simple enough. In the future, if you really want to give the other bidding GM a heads up, that's fine, but there's no need to make actual allowance for correcting bids.
In general, bids should stand as they are, whether valid or not (outside of some judicious LO ruling/intervention). And a new post should be made if a bid correction is needed (after the first few minutes of the bid) to avoid confusion, etc.
Thanks...

Haha... Actually, I almost forgot to rebid before that deadline -- barely checked back in time.
BTW, in the future, please make a separate new post for the bid correction. Bid posts should be allowed to stand as they were (whether the bid is valid or not). Allowing edits can cause problems.

Got it. Was just trying to keep the Boards clean and clear. And I understand the desire to all transactions to be posted. Will do.
So finally, the Tigers sign Jed Lowrie
4 years @ $2.1M AAS = $8.4M total High of $2.94M, Low of $1.26M
2010 - $2.94M 2011 - $2.94M 2012 - $1.26M 2013 - $1.26M
Bidding was not over yet because your last *valid* bid can only be attributed to be much later than the original invalid bid (based on the edit timestamp).
