The Rays and Angels came to a trade agreement days quicker than the Under established in Vegas when their talks began earlier today. 
The Angels negotiated the receipt of prospect SS Devaris (aka Dee) Strange-Gordon ($1.8M AAS MiLB) and 2010 (current) MiLB draft pick 2.10 from the Rays in exchange for 3B Casey McGehee (10:$1.35M, 11:$1.2M).
The Halos hate to send McGehee packing since he provides decent production and is 2B and 3B eligible, but our need for quality prospects made it too difficult to pass on Dee and likely another highly rated arm.
