After alot of PM's ( we do apologize that i cant be on YIM during the day) the Cubs and Dodgers have come to this agreement

Cubs will send KC SP Gil Meche, With his spanking new contract, and SP Prospect Kevin Mulvey to LA in exchange for Sox RP Hideki Okajima, SS/2B Ryan Theriot, and the shitty ol NYY SP Roger Clemens (WHO IS NOW OTB FOR CHEAP)

Dodgers to confirm thanks for your patients and sorry i couldnt make up my mind ...

Dodgers confirm. Our SPs keep falling apart, so we needed retool some more. Hated to see such a great, inexpensive setup RP like Okajima go -- gosh, he could be the closer most anywhere, if not for Papelbon -- along w/ such a nice, cheap, versatile MI like Theriot. But it's Sept, and we got a very tight 3-way race going. Here's hoping (and praying) that Meche doesn't revert to his old mediocre self at least until after the season.
