In a rare move, the Halos and Cards did actually trade players, and the Angels do confirm the deal as announced by the Redbirds.
We hope Manny can gimp back and forth to LF and keep pounding the rock.

Hello, Hello, Hello, Is there anybody Out There? Getting Uncomfortably Numb in here I was gonna write a PF comeback, but apparently, my mind was already too numb to think of anything, not that I'm a big Floyd fan or anything, lol. ;D BTW, for all the PF fans out there (or anyone else yet to be exposed), you owe it to yourself to check out their SACD release of DSotM played back on a good system, especially in multi-channel format. If you're a fan, you should do it even if you don't have a SACD player since the regular CD layer uses a much better master than the old release. ;D

Haha. Nothing wrong w/ vinyl. In fact, plenty of audiophiles still live and die by vinyl -- and they do still make them too. ;D I'm not enough of an audiophile to get into vinyl by the time I started collecting music recordings.
Anyway, if you're serious -- and you must know I'd actually respond, ;D SACD = Sony's Super Audio CD format, which became popular amongst audiophiles a few years back, but is currently in limbo due to the usual format war (w/ DVD-Audio format). They still continue to release music on SACD, but it's mostly classical music and some jazz right now -- meanwhile, there's not much going at all w/ DVD-Audio. SACD (and DVD-Audio) is higher resolution than regular CD (ie. more nuance, detail, dynamics, etc) and has the ability to handle multi-channel surround sound for a much more immersive experience -- not to be confused w/ the lower quality, good-enough-for-movies surround sound in regular movie DVDs. SACD was also conceived to allow hybrid layers so that hybrid SACDs would have a regular CD layer that can be played back on regular CD players -- not all SACDs are hybrid though. Most regular CD layers on hybrid SACDs use a better (higher fidelity) master than the regular/standard CDs mainly because the makers are catering/marketing to a different crowd for SACDs, and this is true of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon as well.
And oh yes, to listen to the multi-channel surround playback, you'll need a proper surround sound system along w/ a SACD player. A good Dolby Digital surround sound system set up for movie DVDs (w/ a SACD player) would work though you ideally want something that can handle higher fidelity than that -- and have more suitable surround/rear speakers for music. There are some DVD players that are also combo SACD players -- and some also play DVD-Audio as well. I have a Denon DVD/SACD/DVD-Audio combo player for instance -- and Sony and Philips also make some combo DVD/SACD players, but they do not do DVD-Audio since SACD is their format.
Anyway, you asked, so there... ;D

Gotta feeling that I'd have to upgrade my old turntable.
