The Dodgers and Brewers have reached agreement on a deal that started late last week.

The Brewers ship Carlos "I can never live up to my contract" Beltran and Jorge "glad to be out of Baltimore" Julio.

The Dodgers ship Pedro "Yes, they gave me a long-term deal" Martinez and Fernando Nieve.

Dodgers confirmed. With some cautious optimism and excitement, we warmly welcome Beltran and Julio into our fold and wish Pedro, young Nieve and the Brew Crew all the best. And we just pray that Beltran will finally leave behind that crosstown curse on big $$$ bats as he comes down to the south side of town to help give us a lift in our sagging O.

Just another amateur learning to paint w/ "the light of the world".
