The Baltimore Orioles will do a lumpsum buyout and owe him $3,200,000 for 2012 only.

Clarification: This is actually a 2012 preseason lumpsum buyout of pre-existing waiver obligation (for 2012-2013) as allowed by rule 6.2.iii.
